Pair of Mahogany and Marble Top Bedside Cabinets

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900, an unusual pair of substantially sized mahogany and marble top bedside cabinets. With pink and grey variegated marble tops, held in place with a half round moulding. To the front is a full size cupboard door with fielded panel and simple beading, opening by cast brass handles with faux keyhole to an uninterrupted space. Beneath is a simple apron with a slight carving to each corner, and standing on William IV style turned ring turned and tapering legs.
