Description
Welsh wall-hanging spice cupboard in the dense and reddish oak associated with Montgomeryshire. Beneath the bold cornice, the single door with a raised and fielded gothic-design panel opens to reveal a fitted interior, with a shaped frieze above shelves enclosing a central pigeon hole flanked by small drawers. Wonderful colour and surface finish. Montgomeryshire, north Wales, circa 1760.
