E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the Regency era.
The mahogany lined frieze drawer retaining the original brass knob handles. The pleated silk panelled doors opening to a single fixed shelf. Flanked by fluted tapered pillars which are repeated on the back corners running into tall slender vase shaped legs. The sides veneered with panels of feathered mahogany also having a moulding running below the drawer and sides.
