A superb Meiji Period Shodana having a combination of 14 Shibayama doors, panels and drawers. All with ivory, bone and mother of pearl applied and inlaid decoration with gilded highlights. The cabinet is further enhanced with carved and open fret work with blue lacquer backgrounds to each panel. The cabinet stands on a typical carved and shaped base and transports in 2 pieces. In very good condition and unusually with no losses. Dimensions:- Max. Height...76''/ 193cm. Depth...12.5''/ 32cm. Max. Width at base...44''/ 112cm.
