An impressive and fully-fitted mid-19th century APOTHECARY BOX, complete with all of its fittings.

The solid mahogany cabinet, with brass handle to the lid opens at the front to display 16 various bottles and jars all with interesting labels. To the centre are two drawers, one fitted with pestle & mortar and three small bottles etc., the other with the original set of scales and weights plus various other interesting items.

To the back is the lockable "secret" compartment with four further bottles for poisons! Very good condition and definitely a cut above average. 11ins high.
