E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The pair of doors having conforming satinwood banded frames to the fine interlaced brass grills with silk panels behind. These flanked by conforming concave dummy doors and banded ends. The interior having single shelf. All sides of the outline strung corners having satinwood panels again with ebony and boxwood outline stringing. The base with double stringing on 6 inlaid square tapered legs on brass ball feet.
