The glass is in excellent original condition, with no damage. The door retains its original brass drop handle, original working lever lock and key. The door opens to reveal four shaped shelves, which can be removed if necessary. The base of the cabinet is decorated with a shaped frieze and is raised on tapering spade feet. The cabinet retains its original backboards; there are also two original chains attached to the roof to secure the cabinet against the wall, so that it does not fall over.
