Spectacular Quality Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Glazed Display Cabinet on Cupboard

By the renowned cabinet makers S & H Jewell and of unique small proportions this spectacular glazed display cabinet on cupboard dates from around 1900. With a moulded cornice above two astragal glazed doors with key with working lock and the interior has three adjustable shelves, the sides are especially unique as they are also glazed. The lower section has a beautifully figured top above a mahogany lined drawer with the original brass handles with two beautifully figured cupboard doors and the interior has one fixed shelf. This wonderful bookcase stands on four spade feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. All the edges are beautifully cross banded with rosewood, boxwood and ebony string inlay and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
