Pair of Tall Burr Walnut Bedside Cabinets

Description

Circa 1870, unusual pair of tall burr walnut bedside cabinets. With well figured burr veneers, and a simple half rounded fore-edge sitting above a configuration of 4 drawers. Each drawer with a turned knob and figured walnut fronts, and walnut gables. Beneath the bottom drawer is a moulded edge, all sitting on an enclosed plinth. They could be used as bedside cabinets, or pedestals.
