Superb Pair of Country House Apothecary Wall Cabinets

Description

A superb pair of late 19th century golden Oak wall cabinets of country house scale. These beautiful cabinets originally used as apothecary cabinets in a chemist's. Having shaped and moulded pediments with moulded panelled doors with original mirror plates, flanked by inset pillars . The door of each cabinet opens to reveal and arrangement of fixed shelves and their are ventilation holes to the top of the cabinets of stop damp occurring - making them perfect for use in a bathroom. Good rich luster and honey coloured timber with great scale. English, late 19th century.
