Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The top has a shaped back with the original oval bevelled mirror and elegant side supports. The door has elegant glazing bars with the original brass handle and key with working lock. The interior comprises of two removable shelves with fabric lining and the piece stands on tapering legs with spade feet and overall is in superb condition. The walnut has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
