John Howkins Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The glazed door opens to a shaped shelf interior the lower door with superb fielded panel inlaid with harebells, ribbons, swags and an urn. The lower tier having turned and fluted supports with inlaid corner brackets, the shelf with a double line of boxwood stringing. The stiles inlaid with satinwood ovals and graduated harebells with line inlays. The sides also with boxwood line inlay throughout and the whole standing on short turned legs. In excellent original condition, probably from the workshops of Edwards and Roberts.
