A pretty French bedside cabinet of excellent quality.
C1890.
Made of walnut in the Rococo style.
Under this is a single drawer over a cabinet door. Having pretty floral and shell carvings to the front, which are of excellent quality.
The door opens to reveal a storage area with a white marble base.
Standing on elegant long cabriole legs, with acanthus carved knees.
The condition is excellent antique condition. Minor signs of age and use. The rouge marble top has had historical repairs, which are very subtle. Internally the marble sides have been removed, just leaving the marble base only.
Lovely colour and warm patination to the walnut.
Solid, sturdy and strong.
