Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It has a moulded circular top with marble insert above a beautifully crafted cylindrical body with curved door and the original curved handle. The interior has one central shelf and stands on a moulded plinth. The mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
