Superb Victorian Display Cabinet

Description

A superb high Victorian figured walnut display cabinet of unusual serpentine shaped design. The user section having a bow glazed fronted door with concave glass ends and well carved decorative corbels. The lower section having a cross grain and thumb moulded edge with canted corners supported by decorative carved stiles. The serpentine shaped walnut and glazed door opens to a fabric lined and shelved interior and the whole stands on a conforming shaped plinth, again with cross grained thumb moulding. This fine unusual cabinet is in excellent original condition with working locks and keys.

Sizes - Height...60.25''/ 153cm. Width...44.5''/ 113cm. Depth...19''/ 48cm. Base Height...41.5''/ 105.5cm. Top Height...18.5''/ 47cm.
