James Ribbons Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The upper doors are glazed with 13 panes as were usual for the late 18th century period.
The lower doors are cross banded with satin wood.
The cabinet stands on its original feet.
There is one shelf on the lower part of the cabinet and three shelves at the top.
The cornice is inlaid with dog tooth sections of satin wood and mahogany.
The condition for a piece of furniture over 200 years is what should be expected with signs of use. Overall it is a handsome piece of furniture.
