French Kingwood and Vernis Martin Vitrine Cabinet

Description

Circa 1880, French kingwood and vernis martin vitrine cabinet. The arched cornice with an ormolu rococco-style cartouche sits over a serpentine glazed door. With two glass shelves and lined in red silk to the back of the interior, the base has a well painted vernis martin panel. It is raised on cabriole legs with elaborate foliate gilt metal mounts throughout. It is in excellent condition.
