The interior with various shelves and compartments, the bottom shelf slides out and is adjustable. The up-stand with further matching inlay and rests on the beaded cornice with boxwood line inlay and canted corners which follow the reeded door styles. The sides with further boxwood line inlay and cast brass carrying handles.The base with conforming canted corners, boxwood stringing and a frieze drawer with brass handles. Standing on elegant shaped legs with subtle carving to the knees and pointed toes. Below is a serpentine shaped under tier with pierced brass gallery. In good original condition, fully cleaned and waxed. All the brass fittings are top quality and original - the lock stamped S.&P. B (Shapland & Petter Barnstaple). With key.
