Description

An absolutely beautiful example of a 19th century multi-drawer cabinet in mahogany. This wonderful chest of drawers – possibly once fitted in a chemist's – is comprised of six small cockbeaded drawers over another six with a further four larger ones beneath. It can rest on a larger piece of furniture or can be wall mounted. It has a square-edged overhanging top and delicately turned ebonised knob handles. Well figured timbers and a really attractive colour and patination. English c.1850 – c.1875.
