Rare Large Cabinet Full of Mineral Specimens

**"Mr. Tennants Collection of British Fossils": an extraordinary, large and very rare CABINET OF SPECIMENS by this famous British mineralogist.

The substantial mahogany case opens to reveal a bank of nine drawers, crammed full of hundreds of different mineral specimens and fossils, together with a (dated) partially handwritten and printed catalogue of the contents; many private semi-precious stones and various other papers and items of interest.

This is a wonderful find with some valuable items including gold; lapis lazuli; pearls and perhaps even a diamond! The cabinet measures: 14.75ins high; 12ins wide; 11.5ins deep.(37.5 x 30.5 x 29cms)
