Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
It has a beautifully figured top with decorative moulded edge above two glazed doors with key with working lock. The sides have pilasters with beautifully carved Corinthian corbels. This stunning display cabinet has been later adapted with glazed shelves ideal for displaying those collectables. The piece stands on shaped bracket feet and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
