Late 17th Cent Oak Cabinet on Stand

Description

Here we have what is basically a late 17th Cent oak cabinet on stand. It dates from around 1680 but as is common with a lot of these early pieces it has been repaired and restored over the years and the stand is probably somewhat later.

At the top is a pair of slim drawers fitted with brass drop handles. Under is a cupboard with a wonderful pair of cushion molded doors. The whole thing is decorated with small panels of fruitwood and various split turnings and other decorative moldings.

The cabinet sits on a separate stand with bulbous turned legs united by square section stretchers.

It is all in excellent condition and a lovely colour.

The maximum dimensions are:

97cm (38“) wide

149cm (58.5“) high

51cm (20“) deep
