Description

This is a really attractive Chinese elm cabinet of small proportions dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. The cabinet has a deep, warm red lacquer finish on solid elm that is beautifully hand painted and gilded with delightful Chinese images and motifs. The top and sides have a lovely cracquelle effect to the black lacquer finish. This is a really pretty piece that would make a nice bedside or occasional cabinet and and is in excellent order for its age.

The measurements are 60 cm high 40 cm wide by 30 cm deep.
