The cupboard encloses one shelf which is adjustable into three positions. To the upper of the buffet are two shelves with delicately turned uprights with a beaded border to each shelf; this delicate detail is also repeated to the top edge of the cupboard. This delightful small piece of furniture stands on its original bun feet. Circa 1800.
Complete with working lock and key.
In excellent original condition, this charming piece of Regency furniture would compliment any room setting, be that a hall, living room or dining room.
Complete with receipt and written correspondence relating to the purchase from John Bell of Aberdeen in 1978; (£795 paid in 1978) including article advertising the piece in Country Life magazine. This is the first time to the market since 1978.
