The centre having a superb inverted scalloped canopy with a circular bevel edged mirror below. The surrounding panels of the highest quality with carved cornucopia, bow and quivers, putti, ribbons and foliage. The base section having serpentine ends with open shelves and bevel edged mirrors, the centre with 2 carved fronted drawers and pierced brass handles. The 3 glazed doors with astragal mouldings and bevel edged plate glass and again retaining the original crushed velvet linings. Below is a conforming carved frieze of fruit, swags and ribbons with 4 supporting turned and carved supports with a polished under tier and the whole standing on 6 turned short feet. This superb, bespoke cabinet is of exhibition quality and was made using the finest rosewood with mahogany linings. The carving is particularly crisp and well designed.
