Superb Quality Late 19th Century Satinwood Cabinet

A superb quality late 19th/early 20th century satinwood cabinet.

This cabinet is constructed from mahogany and is veneered with the best quality choice of superb beeswing satinwood.

The cabinet consists of a well figured satinwood top with a moulded edge and a figured frieze below.

The top overhangs at the back to allow the cabinet to fit against a wall to allow for the skirting board.

The cabinet has two doors with recessed panels again of superb quality veneer with a fine quality engraved brass handle to one door.

The interior of the cabinet consists of two mahogany shelves, the side panels are also of the same superb quality choice of veneers.

The cabinet is supported by a plinth again of superb satinwood veneers and satinwood moulding.

Although there is no evidence of a makers mark or stamp on this piece due to the quality of the choice of veneers there is no doubt that this would have been made by an excellent cabinetmaker of the period.

This cabinet is in very good condition and can go straight into a home.
