Description

fine quality inlaid rosewood cabinet.

the top with beautifully inlaid swan neck pediment over two astragal glazed doors opening to adjustable shelved interior, profuse inlay to the sides and door fronts.

the serpentine front base, again wonderfully inlaid with cornucopia etc., has three drawers, the large centre drawer is fitted with a lift up tooled leather writing slope and all have lovely brass handles.

raised on square tapering inlaid legs.

with only minor marks / scuffs commensurate with age, this exquisite cabinet is absolutely outstanding and really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
