Description

Spectacular Edwardian Bow Fronted Floor Standing Glazed Corner Cabinet

Constructed by a true Edwardian Craftsman Due To The Unusual Shape And Quality and dating from around 1910, this remarkable cabinet has a moulded cornice with pear drop finials and a full length astragal glazed bow fronted door with key with working lock. The interior has four fixed oak shelves and would be ideal for displaying fine china or glassware. This spectacular antique stands elegantly on a plain plinth and benefits from the original oak backboards. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
