Description

A stunning Ladies Cabinet in Suburb condition. Made entirely from Figured walnut which produces an attractive grain all round. The lid is domed shaped with an inlaid brass handle in the centre. The interior comprises of a top tray section specifically for sewing materials. Also had a mirror in the lid. Underneath the sewing section are two draws behind two glass panel doors that swing open secured by lock and key which is in fully functioning order. The top draw is dedicated to jewellery and the bottom tray is for letters and documents etc. All completely original and dates back to the Victorian period, c.1880.
