Victorian (C1880) aesthetic inlaid glazed pier display cabinet or small bookcase. Lovely ebonized finish with ormolu brass mounts and decoration. A great decorative piece of nice quality...even has line inlay to the front edges of the shelves. This is a lovely item, with a nice look together with loads of charm and character. Solid, with no loose joints. Fixed shelves, but they can be fairly easily moved (supports are only pinned on). No woodworm. We have a key.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. Some minor finish/veneer imperfections as one would expect. Section of brass decoration missing from the bottom of the glazed door (barely noticeable). The velour lining is old, faded, worn and marked.

Overall maximum dimensions: 77cm wide, 35cm deep, 108cm high. Shelves each 68cm wide, 24.5cm deep (space above each shelf...bottom 25cm, mid 23cm, top 37cm (reduced entry height)).
