Victorian Walnut Aesthetic Glazed Pier Display Cabinet

Description

Victorian (C1880) aesthetic inlaid burr walnut glazed pier display cabinet or small bookcase. Lovely patinated walnut with ormolu brass mounts and decoration. A great decorative piece of nice quality. This is a lovely item, with a nice look together with loads of charm and character. Solid, with no loose joints. Fixed shelves, but they can be fairly easily moved (supports are only pinned on). No woodworm. We have a key.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. The later velour lining is old, faded, worn and marked.

Overall maximum dimensions: 83cm wide, 31cm deep, 102cm high. Shelves each 71.5cm wide, 20cm deep (space above each shelf...bottom 25cm, 1st 26cm, top 32cm (reduced entry height)).
