Victorian Chinese Lacquered & Inlaid Cabinet. C. 1880

Description

Victorian period Chinese black lacquered two door cabinet. The top with gold decoration, the front and sides beautifully inlaid and decorated with soap stone and mother-of-pearl pictures depicting birds amongst trees.

The cabinet is a very nice neat size and there is NO soap stone or mother-of-pearl missing on it anywhere. Some of the lacquer could do with touching up here and there but nothing serious.

The inside has one fixed shelf in the middle.

SIZE; 22 1/2" wide by 11" front to back by 31" high
