Late 18th Century Scandinavian Secretaire Cabinet.

Description

Good late 18th century Scandinavian, probably Swedish satin birch secretaire cabinet. The whole piece is veneered in a nicely grained satin birch which is a lovely golden colour.

The brasses to the outside are especially nice.

The fall front come down to reveal a fully fitted interior with drawers and pigeon holes and a baized writing surface. There is a full length drawer to the top and cupboard below.

In the interior of the cupboards there are two shelves with a further drawer beneath. The whole piece stands on small tapered legs.

SIZE; 32" wide by 15" front to back by 57" high
