Georgian Scottish Mahogany Glazed Corner Cabinet

Description

Late 18th century George III Scottish mahogany glazed hanging corner cabinet. This example is a good bit earlier than most you see and it is a nice neat size.

Unusual geometrical door design with astragal glazing bars, the door with original lock and working key. Some of the glass has been replaced but most is original.

Very nice cross grain mould to the base and cross grain cornice also. The ends with boxwood line inlay and mahogany cross banding round the edge.

The inside is currently lined with a dark green felt.

SIZE; 38" high overall. 20" across the front
