Description

This is a beautiful, hand-painted camphor wood late 19thCentury Chinese cabinet with its original ink drawings. The lovely, hand-drawn ink designs include Chinese figures in traditional dress and birds nestling in tree branches, enclosed by bold, geometric borders. The handle to the right door is missing the small bell-shaped droplet, however this doesn't affect the function of the doors. The cabinet is solidly constructed in the traditional manner and with most camphor wood pieces has a lovely scented aroma to the interior. The cabinet is a good, practical size, measuring 49” in height, 44.5” in width and 24” in depth. It has double-doors with shelves inside, providing ample storage space.
