Fitted Mahogany Apothecary's Cabinet

Description

A good quality and fully fitted early 19th century mahogany APOTHECARY CABINET or MEDICINE BOX in original condition.

The solid top with its recessed brass shaped handle, opens to reveal the full set of twelve bottles, each with stoppers and labels. Below, the front drawer opens to reveal further bottles and a set of scales with weights in a tray.

This lifts out to show the compartment below with glass pestle & mortar; a set of further smaller bottles' two tin canisters and various other items. Virtually complete and in excellent original condition.
