This is a superb quality pair of antique Victorian solid mahogany bedside chests, circa 1860 – 1880.
The bedsides feature a working lock and a key to the top drawers. Each bedside chest boasts traditional round cornered molded edges. The backs of the bedsides feature pine back boards. Both chests are constructed of top quality solid mahogany timber finished with a superb solid mahogany finish. During this period, England was imported top quality timber from its colonies.
These chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hall way, living room or the bedroom. These chests would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Condition Report:
These bedside chests are in excellent condition and commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. These bedsides have been adapted from a dressing table some time ago. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The bedsides feature working locks and a key to the top drawer only. The drawers are mahogany drawer lined which is a sign of superb quality. The solid mahogany gives a superb colour / patination. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
