Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
Beneath this is a small apron with a simple moulding. The doors on the front have matching flame mahogany panels and a simple beading, opening to reveal a cupboard with two adjustable shelves. Beneath this is a small plinth and four squat bun feet. An unusual feature is that the two gables have the same veneers and style of flame mahogany panels as the front. The whole cabinet has wonderful colour and excellent patination, and very good function.
