The Antique Furniture Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
We date this to circa 1900.

It has a projecting cornice with a deep frieze inlaid with stylised flowers and buds above a pair of astragal glazed doors and sides each with four original convex bubble glass panes. There is a mirror to the back and the base is velvet lined.

The open display shelf beneath features an arch inlaid with more stylised flowers, an arched bevelled mirror to the back and a smaller shelf in front supported by flat capped tapering uprights. The base section has two arched panelled doors opening to reveal a shelf and stands on block feet united by an inlaid apron.

This is a very attractive and stylish cabinet, all the joints are all solid, the mirrors are original and as such do have some fine spotting. There are locks fitted to each door but no key and the key plate and moulding are missing from the lower right door. There is a small chip out the right side of the cornice at the back edge and there are a couple of other marks to the cornice.
