Edwardian Walnut Music Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

An attractive solid walnut music cabinet of good colour dating from around 1900. It has its original bevelled edge glass in the door and internally has its original velvet covered shelves, three with its labels 'sacred', 'songs' and 'various'. It probably originally had another higher shelf which has been removed over time and there are a few small holes drilled through the back - mostly at the top - but are not obtrusive (see photo 6). It has a nicely carved upstand and stands on a shaped plinth back and sides and castors.

Aproximate dimensions are:

Width 49 cms X depth 43 cms

Height 81 cms(+ upstand 11.5cms)
