Edwardian Gilt Painted Antique Display Cabinet.

This antique Edwardian display cabinet, circa 1900, has a wonderful glamorous appearance with its gilt painted finish. It has a quality figured white marble top above a decorative carved cornice. The supports are in a columnar design and divide the two glass side panels from the glazed door. It has a key with working lock and the interior has two glass shelves providing the perfect environment to display ones treasured possessions. This delightful display cabinet stands on four decoratively turned legs and has a distinct Venetian feel to it with the marble top and painted gilt finish. The paint finish, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
