Very Unusual Continental Oak & Inlaid Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

Here we have a very unusual but beautifully made early 1900's oak and inlaid Arts and Crafts style cabinet. Made from solid oak with the very unusual design panel style sides and back. The front with two cupboard doors with drawer above, all inlaid with a boxwood and ebony line in geometric design. Retaining original brassware.

The top is a very nice parquetry design in oak, walnut and ebony, again in a geometrical design.

The lovely scroll shaped base with short cabriole legs.

The whole piece is a gorgeous rich colour.

Most unusual piece, never seen anything quite like it before, possibly Dutch.

SIZE; 21" long by 16" wide by 29" high
