Antique Pair Walnut Pier Cabinets

Description

A superb antique pair of Victorian pier console display cabinets; being better than your average model having the a more unusual shaped door and ogee shaped plinths. Constructed from figured burr walnut with scrolling marquetry foliate inlay and gilt bronze mounts. These antique pair of 19th century walnut side consol glazed glass bookcase cupboards are crossbanded in tulipwood and stand on a shaped plinth base with a concave frieze top. These cabinets are in fabulous condition having been fully resored by qualified professional restorers to include a full polish and re-line in watermark silk. Cost £1500 to restore. Circa 1870. Measure 33”w x 42”h x 12”d.Excellent condition
