Description

Fine Quality Late 19C Inlaid Mahogany Display Cabinet on Stand. The arched cornice edged with satinwood having dogtooth mouldings and stinwood bandings. The arch with leaf & flower head inlay. The pair of glazed doors with outline satinwood banding and the astragals with chequer stringin. The velvet lined interior having 4 plate glass shelves. The bowfront base having concave ends flanking a mahogany lined drawer. The top surface having fine inlaid banding with boxwood outline stringing. Each panel of the frieze having satinwood banded edges around leaf scrolled inlays. Reeded panels above the reeded tapered legs topped by carved feather decoration. The banding to top surface of base has harebell inlays and chequer outline stringing.
