Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The scenes depict a temple, gardens and exotic birds in flight. The gables are walnut with gilded string inlay. The doors are held on by 3 elaborate strap hinges and open to reveal a simple uninterrupted interior. The cabinet stands on a wonderful carved Queen Anne style base on carved cabriole legs finishing on carved curled feet. Excellent colour and good condition.
Size 119cm high x 78cm wide x 46cm deep.
