Serpentine Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The top and bottom edges are beautifully moulded. The original lock is present, but no key. One could be made by a furniture restorer if desired.

The white marble top is original, and lifts off for transport.
The interior is vacant with a rug lining the bottom, and is very suitable for storage of any kind.
The door pulls are turned wood, and the whole stands on shallow bun feet.

The back of the cabinet is composed of the original period panelled back.
There is just one spot of loss of silvering near the inside lower corner of one of the original mirror glasses.
Size-approximately 29 inches wide by 21 inches wide at deepest point, by 29 inches high.

A really lovely, beautifully crafted and unusual piece in very good condition overall, with great colour and patination.
A great piece for serving, storage, a lamp or end table, or even a bedside cabinet.
Additional photos are available if desired.
