The box is unlocked (all in working condition) with a quality Bramah lock & key to open the lid, the interior of the lid has some racks, and the top compartments include two lidded sections with heavy lids, for loose tobacco.

Next to the lock is a flush brass press-button which release the front doors which open to reveal gilded cigar caddies on the interior of each door. The drawer pulls out to reveal an even larger gilded caddy and a cedar lined drawer for larger cigars. The fitted cigar caddies would accept a smaller cigar around 4" in length. The drawers interior measure 6 3/4" deep x 5" wide (x2).

Of course the word Humidor is used for these cabinets but an actual Humidor, which is a modern invention to measure humidity in a cabinet, is technically incorrect, they are really cigar cabinets but often referred to as Humidor's.

A showpiece to impress, in excellent condition. The footprint measures 13 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 16" tall. There is the original presentation plaque dated Xmas 1911, in Johannesburg, South Africa; somehow it found it's way back to England!
