Antique Early Metalware Silver 17thc Charles 11 Trefid Spoon by Ng. English C1680-85

Description

A fine quality Charles II silver trefid spoon with makers mark NG stamped four times into the reverse of the handle (See Jackson's Silver & Gold Marks - page 518) it is also engraved with the owners initials C E on the reverse of the terminal....it has a plain rat tail extending down the back of the bowl from the base of the handle for support of the oval bowl....the handle is made of a thick gauge silver....a real quality early spoon in very good condition.
