Description

A closely matched pair of George III Chippendale period mahogany tray top commodes; the shaped tray top pierced with carrying handles above a cupboard door with a pull-out drawer below and raised on square chamfered legs. The fronts of the commodes veneered in wonderful Cuban curl mahogany.

Circa 1765

This pair of tray top commodes are the perfect Georgian bedside tables. There is plenty of room on top for a lamp, glass of water and a book. The bedside tables have plenty of storage and are in great condition.
