Art Deco Burr Walnut Cocktail Cabinet by Epstein

1900 - 1920
Description

A magnificent Art Deco burr walnut cocktail cabinet by Epstein. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920’s.

It is of outstanding quality, the top has beautifully fluted doors with bakelite handles. There is gorgeous floral carving at top of the grooved legs, which run down from the centre of the cabinet and sweep out with acanthus leaf carving towards the lower platform base. The interior is beautifully fitted out with sycamore drawers and a cabinet with a built in bottle rack. There are shelves in the doors and a mirrored peach glass upper section with a slide out serving tray. The burr walnut grain patterns and colour tones are stunning.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb.
